About Lyana Rasip
An alumna of the master of science (MSc) in social policy and planning program of the London School of Economics and Political Science, Lyana Rasip completed her undergraduate and graduate education on a full scholarship from the Noah Foundation. Returning to her country of origin in 2007, Lyana Rasip served as a researcher for UNICEF’s Malaysia branch.
Ms. Rasip went on to develop her skills in the private sector, developing a background in news publication and marketing before joining Accenture Management Consulting in 2008. Initially a training lead, Lyana Rasip oversaw a seven-person team in a large-scale training rollout to more than 3,000 vendors. Her accomplishments led to increasing degrees of responsibility, resulting in her current position as a project management office lead for a Malaysia-based telecommunications firm.
Maintaining an active interest in social welfare, she has also led a number of fundraising and volunteer programs for international aid organizations such as the Red Cross, Mercy Malaysia, and HOPE Malaysia. In recognition of her achievements within the company, Ms. Rasip has earned several commendations, including the 2011 Best Team and 2011 Corporate Citizenship awards from Accenture.
